INTER-MINISTERIAL COORDINATION COMMITTEE (ICC)

The Inter-Ministerial Coordination Committee (ICC) composed of the permanent Secretaries of the sector ministries was set up by the Head of Public Service and provides the government executive leadership needed to drive the strategy.

The role of the ICC is to:

• Give policy direction on the Sector Policy (ASDS)
• Approve budgetary provision for implementation of sector policy activities
• Provide briefings to Ministers and relevant parliamentary groups
• Receive progress reports from the Technical Committee and provide guidance on way forward
