TECHNICAL COMMITTEE (TC)

Technical guidance for the implementation of the sector policy comes from the Technical Committee (TC) composed of Directors of the sector ministries, and the program managers of development partners, private sector, ASCU secretariat and NGO partners.

The role of the Technical Committee is to;

• Coordinate the implementation of the Strategy;
• Provide technical advise to the NSC
• Recommend prioritized sector policy activities
• Receive implementation reports and provide guidance on the way forward;
• Review and adopt reports from the Thematic Working Groups (TWGs).
• Oversee ASCU activities in the implementation of the sector policy
• Approve studies and Technical Assistance
• Mobilize funding for various priority activities.
• Monitor and evaluate implementation progress
• Discuss and recommend work plans and budgets prepared by the ASCU
